Jennifer is the Citizenship, Judicial and Merits Review Stream Coordinator for Immigration Solutions. Jennifer graduated with a combined Bachelor of Arts (International Relations) and Bachelor of Law from the University of New South Wales in 2016. Jennifer additionally studied components of her degree, majoring in International Law at the University of Bocconi in Milan, Italy. Jennifer has completed her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law and is admitted as a Solicitor to the Supreme Court of NSW. Jennifer has had ample exposure to various complex Immigration matters. She hopes to become a Registered Migration Agent by the end of the year.

Jennifer’s role as a Solicitor within the Judicial and Administrative Merits Review Stream includes:

  • Preparation and Lodgement of detailed submissions regarding Visa cancellations, Citizenship, Partner Visas, Protection Visas, Business Investor Visas, Work Right applications and Character issues at the primary Department of Immigration and Border Protection level.
  • Preparation and lodgement of detailed submissions to the Migration and Refugee Division of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal regarding refused Partner Visas (onshore and offshore), Schedule 3 criteria, Visa cancellations, 457 visas, Family violence applications, Protection visas, Medical treatment visas, Carer visas and Prospective marriage visas.
  • Preparation and lodgement of Ministerial Intervention Submissions.
  • Corresponding with the Department of Immigration and Border Protection, the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and relevant third parties (including but not limited to) criminal and corporate lawyers, psychologists, social workers, doctors and forensic experts.
  • Legal research with respect to Migration policy, cases and legislation to assist with a client’s matter.
