Successful Subclass 600 Tourist Visa

This case involved the applicant’s difficulty applying for a further student visa, and Immigration Solutions assistance to keep the Applicant in Australia for him to make further arrangements.

The applicant was on a subclass 573 Student visa which is designed for international students who have been approved for study in Australia at a higher education level. The Applicant had resided in Australia for several years on the student visa before its expiry. The Applicant sought the help of Immigration Solutions Lawyers as he was unable to obtain the required CoE (Confirmation of Enrolment) from his new education provider before the expiry date on his student visa.

Immigration Solutions Lawyers (ISL) were able to identify a number of reasons as to why the Applicant could not obtain the CoE, despite our efforts and several discussions with the school The team at ISL was then instructed by  the Applicant to apply for a Tourist Subclass 600 visa. The successful grant of the tourist visa would allow the Applicant the time to make the necessary arrangements with his new educational provider or to depart the country.

ISL was able to prepare the visitor visa application in one afternoon, and provide substantial evidence as to why the applicant should remain in Australia and a successful Tourist Subclass 600 visa was granted in just a few days.
