Applicants must be work right compliant
The Applicant was on a tourist visa when ISL applied for a 457 visa on his behalf. However, before the visa could be granted, the Department raised doubts over the Applicant’s compliance with the conditions attached to his tourist visa. To the Department, it seemed that he had been working (when in fact he had no such work rights) and therefore, he did not meet the criteria for the grant of a subclass 457 visa.
ISL submitted a statutory declaration on the client’s behalf, which addressed the Department’s concerns and clarified the Applicant’s sources of income.
Our office proved to the Department that our client had complied with the conditions on his tourist visa and subsequently, he was granted a 457 visa.
