Complex Subclass 482 Nomination and Visa Application
CASE TYPE
Subclass 482 nomination and visa application by an associated entity of a large company (sponsor). The entire case had numerous issues relevant to the nomination and visa application which needed to be addressed including a related entity argument which we put forward to the Department. The entire application was complex in nature and required a high level of corporate knowledge.
CASE BACKGROUND
The large company had an approved sponsorship in place however their associated entity wanted to nominate an employee who was working for the large company on a temporary visa.CASE STRATEGY
Immigration Solutions Lawyers (ISL) addressed issues that were relevant to both nomination and visa. We also advised the Department of Home Affairs that the company had strategies in place moving forward. ISL successfully argued and established the associated entity argument in accordance to the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth). We also addressed other relevant issues in relation to the related entity and the support provided by the parent companyCASE OUTCOME
We lodged the application and supporting documentation and received the grant of the nomination and visa application in less than 2 weeks after lodgement on the same day. The work involved a high-level of difficulty and consistent referral to ensure that the application aligned to Migration law, regulations and policy. The large company was very happy with the quick and positive result.
“I can confirm that [the large company] is very happy with the result. [The visa applicant] was particularly overjoyed with the result and sends her thanks to you, Palwasha and your team.”
