The applicant had been living and working illegally in Australia for more than seven years, had been found to have provided false and misleading information to the Department of Immigration, and was also in possession of a falsified Australian passport.  The applicant was identified as unlawful and was detained in Villawood. We were successful in applying for the applicant to be released from the Detention Centre, as a result of a Review Application to the Migration Review Tribunal.
