Visa Granted

The applicant had lodged a visa application through her previous migration agent. The applicant was notified by the department that the visa will be refused if not withdrawn by the following day. The applicant was pressured by her previous migration agent to withdraw the application. When the applicant inquired with us for advice, we advised not to withdraw the application as withdrawal means foregoing her rights to the review of the decision at the MRT. We also believed there was reasonable prospects of success and that we will prepare a detailed submission arguing why she is eligible for a 457 visa. Numerous telephone conferences with the Department case officer confirmed that he already formed a view on the merits of the application. However, our detailed submission was accepted and she was granted a 457 visa.
