Resident Return Visa: only 20 days spent in Australia - Successful outcome
The applicant was refused a resident return visa as he had spent only 20 days in total in Australia in the previous 5 years.
We argued that the applicant had substantial employment and personal ties with Australia which are of benefit to Australia. In particular, we emphasised his crucial involvement as a consultant with a state-owned corporation Ā and his significant family ties to Australia.
The review was successful and the matter was remitted back to the Department.
